Dr. Arici earned his B.S. in Biology with Magna Cum Laude honors from Arizona State University in 1996, then his Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University in 2000.
He trained at the Military Hospital in Perry Point, Maryland, and at the Eye Institute of Utah — learning to assist in refractive surgery and to recognize, treat and co-manage diseases of the eye, from diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma to cataracts and macular degeneration.
An avid skier and mountain biker, he fell in love with Utah's people and mountains during his residency, and made it home. He founded Venice Optometry in 2002 — and has never stopped working to improve his practice and his care.

A Magna Cum Laude graduate with a neuropsychology background, experienced in pediatrics, ocular disease, vision therapy and specialty contacts — with a special interest in computer vision and neuro-optometric rehabilitation. Sees patients Tuesdays & Thursdays.
Trained across ocular-disease and primary-care clinics in Arizona and Tennessee. Treats glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration, with extra experience in LASIK & cataract co-management and scleral and specialty contact-lens fitting.
